Trying to figure out colour and wheel combos since the Outback is first on my list . I really like the green and black Sparcos. However...
I am a real sucker for blue and gold. For winter kit, this looks so rad .

I am now regretting not buying Sparco Terras for my Volvo.

If only Subaru Oz supported manual transmissions in their lineup...

I agree with this. The Method MR502s look better on Outbacks than the Sparcos.

The XT in manual would be so rad.

I like blue and gold but I’m not feeling that particular combo. Green or GTFO.

Not going to happen. Certainly not down here.
I would buy an EV Outback before I would even consider a CVT equipped Outback...or any other Subaru with said transmission.

I do like that green... And assuming they have the CVT beefed up enough, that Onyx XT seems like the sweet spot ride...

Thank you.
That second one is very much what I’m into. A bullbar with LEDs would be great out here.

I’m starting to lean away from adding structure beyond my Outback’s bumper as I don’t care to compromise the safety by affecting airbag triggers. That said, LP Aventure should be presenting their 2020 Outback bumper bar soon.
I still haven’t taken the time to pop the hood and evaluate whether mounting amber driving lights behind the grille would be at all effective, which is my current thought. My other thought is mounting something on the roof rack, but then I’d be tempted to make it temporary, which is kind of silly given how much wiring I’d need to run to power them.
I did figure out the part number for the ONE switch blank on the console where I can wire an auxiliary light switch . . . I’m going to get a spare blank in order to convert things back for the eventual point down the road where I remove the lights and sell the car. I figure I’ll take the stock blank and drill it to mount the switch so that it looks clean.
I’m definitely not lifting my Outback and messing with the road manners. I also feel little need to replace the wheels even though aftermarket ones would look cooler. So, aside from wanting to mount lights that may not really be needed, my only other mods planned are a recovery strap, etc., recovery training (mod the driver), and probably some form of CB for locations with no cell signal. And light A/T tires when the stock all seasons wear out, possibly sooner.

I’m mainly interested in the bull bars for wildlife, since the animals are pretty suicidal out here, and as a mounting point for lights. Probably not going to lift it, but I’m with you for A/T tires.
And I was on LP Adventure last night, looking for accessories.

I have fewer suicidal animals here, perhaps, although I did see a fawn considering jumping in front of me just last week. A friend had a deer plow into the side of her car yesterday morning, so no bull bar would have helped with that, unfortunately.

Subaru Eyesight ruins everything. I mean it might be a nice safety sweet, I haven’t used it. But it basically gave them a good excuse to axe manuals in most of their cars. I’ll be over here driving my 4rth gen XT manual until it rusts into oblivion...

Yeah, despite having an outback on sparco terras myself (which actually I bought for a Saabaru originally) I thing the Method wheels are the hotness for outbacks with AT tires

The new Outbacks need a bit more chonk than the sparcos provide.
